Tune up

Each morning before I get in the shower I put a song on the stereo. Then I try to finish my shower before the song ends. Much more fun than a shower timer. Ben from Bondi

Time your showers

Buy a digital timer and train the kids to set it each time they have a shower. We use 2 mins. Get the kids to 'tag' and be ready to get in when they hear the timer, helping to reduce water wastage.  Leanne from Adelaide

A quick wash is a good wash

Clothes worn briefly, such as an evening out, don't require washing, as such. Use only minimum washing detergent (if any) and put through the rinse cycle only. Janice from Wakerley

Don't be a wally

Save your shower water, wash small clothes by hand and use a glass to brush your teeth instead of leaving the tap to run.  Carolina from Mt Gravatt East, Qld 4122
